Standards marked ANSI/ASME have been adopted by both the American Society of Mechanical Engineers and the American National Standards Institute and standards marked ANSI/ASSE have been adopted by both the American Society of Mechanical Engineers and the American Society for Sanitary Engineering.
ASTM has no standards covering the above products. However, some of the above standards require that products be made from materials that comply with certain ASTM standards. For example, ANSI A112.6.3 states that all iron castingsused in supports for off the floor fixtures must comply with ASTM A48, Standard Specification for Grey Iron Castings. By insuring that our products comply with the above listed standards, we have met all relevant ASTM requirements.
